Regulations of the "Referral" action of the Qover bicycle insurance product
The "Referral" action takes effect from 15.12.2021 for an unlimited period.
This action is a loyalty program allowing our customers to share a discount on the Qover bike insurance product with their friends or relatives. This discount applies for the entire duration of the contract.
- Who can take part in this action ?
Any natural person who has taken out a Qover bicycle insurance policy will automatically be eligible as a "referrer" to take part in our referral program. Participation in the action implies approval of these regulations.
Employees of QOVER SA and their spouses/co-habitants are excluded from taking part in the program. - What does "be a referrer" mean?
As a referrer, you can share as much as you want the 15% discount code to your relatives and friends via the unique link you received by e-mail after taking out the insurance. - What does "be a referee" mean ?
As a referee, you:
- get 15% discount on your bike insurance ;
- become a referrer yourself.
The amount of the discount can not be trade for money, and this offer is not cumulative with other actions or discounts. By subscribing a bike insurance with Qover, you can revoke the bike insurance within 14 days.
- Scope of the action
This "referral" action is organized by : Qover SA (FSMA 0650.939.878). Registered office: Rue du Commerce 31, 1000 Brussels, Belgium.
The organizers reserve the right at any time to suspend, stop or modify the action at their sole discretion, without justification, notice or compensation to referrers, referees or third parties. They will inform the participants by e-mail, and/or by a communication on their website. Did you encounter problems in the scope of this action and you didn't find a solution with one of our Qover-me employees? Complaints can be submitted to the following email address: referral@qover.com. The proposed action is subject to the law applicable in the country of residence of the participant. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of the country of residence of the participant.
- Privacy policy
The personal data communicated by Participants in the context of this Action are processed in compliance with the Law of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons and physical data with regard to the processing of personal data and the Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (« RGPD »).
Qover is responsible for processing your personal data in its capacity as data controller in order to achieve the mentioned purposes.
This processing is based on the legal basis of the legitimate interest of offering this type of operation to customers and prospects for the sole purpose of benefiting from the discounts and gifts offered.
Qover undertake all reasonable precautions required to protect participants' Personal Data collected through technical security rules, an adequate security policy against unauthorized use of Participants' personal data.
In case of communication of the Referee's email address by the Referrer to Qover, the Referee's email address given by the Referrer won't be used for any purpose other than the communication of this action, except with the express consent of the Referee.
The referee's email address, in the absence of a contract with Qover, will be deleted in a delay of maximum thirty days (30) following the sending of the referral campaign email, unless the referee expressly consents for other purposes.
Participants have the right to access, rectify, delete (if legal statements are met), obtain a copy, transfer their personal data, oppose to the processing of their data, limit the process of their personal data (if legal statements are met).
Those rights can be exercised by email : privacy@qover.com.
However, in the event that a referrer or referee exercises their right to withdraw, they will no longer be entitled to the benefit of the Action, as the processing of their personal data is necessary for the implementation of the Action. Finally, the referrer and referee have the right to fill a complaint with the supervisory authorities, in particular with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
