Details of the #QoverYourTracks “Strava Challenges” Action

The Action takes effect from 01/07/2022 for an unlimited period.

This Action is a program allowing participants to win Qover-branded cycling gifts when they accomplish a challenge announced on the Qover Bike Club on Strava.com.

  1. Who can take part in this Action?
    • Any natural person of minimum 18 years old can participate in the Action. To participate in this Action, the participant has to be affiliated as a member of the Qover Bike Club on Strava.com. Participation in the action implies approval of these regulations.
  2. How can you participate?
      • The person who wants to participate in the Action has first to be affiliated with the Qover Bike Club on Strava.com.
      • The participant will be informed about the challenges via the Qover Bike Club page on Strava.com.
  3. What is the purpose of the Action?
    • The participants who accomplish a challenge announced on the Qover Bike Club on Strava.com and whose results are published on Strava.com get the chance to be picked randomly to win a Qover-branded cycling gift.
    The winner will be individually contacted via Strava.com or via the ambassador to communicate to Qover: their name, size and shipping address.
  4. Who is the organiser of the Action?
    • This Action is organised by : Qover SA (FSMA 0650.939.878). Registered office: Rue du Commerce 31, 1000 Brussels, Belgium.
    • The organisers reserve the right at any time to suspend, stop or modify the Action at their sole discretion, without justification. They will inform the participants by e-mail, and/or by a communication on their website, and/or by a communication on the Qover Bike Club Strava.com page. For more information on the management of your personal data, we invite you to consult our Privacy Policy.
  5. Potential complaints?
    • Did you encounter problems in the scope of this Action and didn't find a solution with one of our Qover employees? Complaints can be submitted to the following email address: mediation@qover.com. The proposed Action is subject to the law applicable in the participant's country of residence. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of the participant's country of residence.
  6. Personal data and privacy policy
    • The personal data communicated by Participants in the context of this Action are processed in compliance with the Law of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons and physical data with regard to the processing of personal data and the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (“General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”).
    • Qover is responsible for processing your personal data in its capacity as Data Controller.
    • We process your personal data for the following purposes: 
      a. to review your participation in the Action
      b. to contact you in order to send you your gift
      c. to share with or receive from the Ambassadors your data in order for you to be contacted for your gift
    • The lawfulness of the  processing of personal data for the aforementioned purposes is based on our legitimate interest to offer  this type of operation to customers and prospects for the sole purpose of benefiting from gifts offered by Qover, in accordance with the Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
    • For the aforementioned purposes, we process the following categories of personal data collected directly from you: First and last name, size, shipping address and we may ask you your e-mail address or phone.
    • We will retain your personal data for no longer than one (1) year, unless you ask us to erase your personal data.
      Qover undertakes all appropriate organizational and technical measures required to protect participants' Personal Data in accordance with the respective provisions of the GDPR.
    • Your rights on your personal data are provided for in Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR. Please note that in some cases restrictions under Article 23 of the GDPR may apply. In particular, participants have the right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure, right to restriction of processing, right to object, right to data portability.
    • In the event that a participant exercises his right to erase, he will no longer be entitled to the benefits of the Action, as the processing of their personal data is necessary for the realization of the Action.
    • Finally, the participant has the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, as a supervisory authority.
    • Those rights can be exercised by contacting Qover’s DPO by email at privacy@qover.com.
    • We will get back to you with our answer as soon as possible and within a month at the latest.
